Advisory Boards:

Various members of the community have donated their time and services to assist on the following committees:

Committees-

1. Entrance/Exit - Criteria/Review

a. This group will work on creating an application policy, lease and terms of agreement for the Center. The committee will review all applications to make sure the prospective tenant is a fit for the incubator. In addition, they will also be responsible for creating a graduation policy and exit strategy.

2. Business Plan Review

a. This group will review the business plans and offer feedback and suggestions to all prospective tenants. In addition, the committee will conduct biannual reviews of the plans to make sure tenants are on target.

3. Shared Services/Programs/Events

a. This committee's task is to make clear the difference between cheap office space and an incubator. The group will help identify key shared services - both paid and free - for tenants to use. In addition, they will help plan monthly events, such as HR, marketing, patent applications, etc, as well as networking mixers and other events. The relationship of the universities/colleges/trade schools to the incubator will also play an important role in this committee.

4.Financial/Legal - Review/Assistance

a. Financial and legal statements are important not only for the tenant but the center as well. This area will focus on the review and assistance of the financing of each tenant on a biannual schedule as well as the incubator itself. The group will help identify and secure sources of capital for tenants and will offer assistance pertaining to the legal setup of each tenant's business.

5. PR/Marketing/Fundraising/Sponsorship

a. This group will help market the facility to the community. Tasks include feedback and guidance on marketing initiatives as well as generating new ideas to locate prospective tenants. Also included in this committee will be a focus on fund raising initiatives and sponsorships which will help pay for the marketing/advertising and programs.
